Question on broken header nipple?

I noticed the other day my header nipple snapped.. how can I replace that? Is this bad news?? I haven't messed with anything having to do with this. Is the bike ok to ride still?

It's called an exhaust stud, and it can become a problem if you're not careful.  I'd suggest trying to find a replacement stud, and take care in removing the broken one.  Use a proper stud, and not a bolt.
