Help Identify This Tank Bag Please
« on: September 23, 2012, 09:06:56 AM »
I found a tank bag that I want for my bike...only problem is that I cannot find any information about it. It might be a custom job and I haven't seen anything like it before. Very vintage looking, but with a hard bracket mounted directly to the gas tank.

I found it in the free motorcycle picture magazine called Stay True, issue number 3: http://issuu.com/truebikerspirit/docs/st3

If you've seen something like this before or have any information about how I can buy/make one of these, I would really appreciate it!

Appears to be "a bag" fastened to a factory triumph parcel tray.. not all Triumps had them..

Yup - just an old leather bag strapped down to a factory stock Triumph rack.  Looks like it's held down with strips of innertube.

Thanks for the help. I must have spent hours google searching for everything I could think of but never found anything like it. I've never heard of this before.
