sohc testament
« on: July 02, 2006, 03:36:21 PM »
I recently purchased 5 parts/ project bikes on ebay. I have since gotten two running and have a fairly good idea that I can get at least two more goin. Basically all I had to do was carbs on one and carbs and points on the other. I know this is boring to most, but I am new to the sohc thing and I am just overwhelmed at how tough these old things are. Oh yeah, one of the motors was locked up from sitting and now it runs as smooth as a (insert cliche). :) :) :) :)

Congratulations! I know what you mean about them being tough. Mine runs in spite of my wrenching.  ;D
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

You´re welcome! Glad someone else thinks it´s worth doing.
Noticed that you added some knee-indents, will look great when finished!
Keep up the good work!

Cheers
