Iowa - Honda 550F

I joined in April but have been using the site for information for about 2 years now. I used to work as a garbage man when I came across a 1977 Honda 550f SuperSport in a rolloff container we were hauling. Needless to say it made my day and I started working on it. Through a lot of help from this forum, I found tips that made the process easier. I am still working on it and trying to make it as original as possible. Next spring I hope to have it all complete.

I don't have the best attachements. I had to load two as pdfs because of their sizes.

Very lucky find~! Very cool.  Hope you can get her back to life (you didnt say if she runs yet)... and getting her titled and ready to go.

She is running. I just hooked up the gas tank again. Also there was no issue with the title. It was actually in the front fairing (now removed). Since we delivered and pickup the garbage container I also had the previous owners current address. I got the balls one day to go ask him to sign it over and he turned out to be a really nice guy. All he wants is to see her again when she is all finished.

It was last registered in 1991. I took all precautions before starting her, but I had no issues.

Welcome and awesome story!  I love the 550 F's and are hard to find with the original exhaust in good cond.
