« on: September 26, 2012, 02:14:10 PM »
Started work on the clutch on the race bike looking to loose a couple hundred grams .Dismantled clutch and started to remove metal from individual parts --- gear ring was first as most gain could be had as this is the heaviest part

If you are counting grams you can remove a good amount of material off the shift drum. I have seen Kawasaki kit parts that are incredible. Are you going to balance the basket?

It's more the revolving and reciprocating weight I want to reduce although I have done a little work on the drum and forks . I will balance the whole reassembled clutch on a high point balancer
