more ring leakage than a stocker due to bigger ring circumference maybe??
mine used to blow the hose off the oil tank when revved before i ditched the stock setup. motor still went fine, didn't use oil- just leaked it. so i never solved the story, just the symptoms.
i never got around to a proper leakdown test, but compression was good, so i rode and was happy!

What happened to this guy????

I've never used the Wiseco's in a sohc, but just got one running with the cyclex 850cc kit and don't notice any blow by on a breather filter mounted right on the valve cover. Sprayed head gasket with copper koat (5 coats), and put a very light skim of sealer on the base and cover gasket.
The thing about common sense is that, it's not that common.

i have a wiseco kit and have a weep at the head gasket, and it dont matter hard many times i retorwue the head(which required engine removal).. i still have it, have been told that if you clean up the area, and spyay heat proof paint over the area between the head and cylinders, sometimes this is enough to stop a seep, havent tried it yet... anyone esle?..peace

Are you using the stock studs? If so,you will never be able to make it stop.

Jay, what's the max torque for your heavy duty studs? My package is long gone and am going from memory. 25 ft/lbs ?
