What spocket to use?
« on: October 04, 2012, 06:19:19 AM »
Hello, my name is Bob (fatslob-2008). I recently finished a GL1000 naked Gold wing, which was sold overseas. My current project is a 1974 cb750k. My guestion is about spockets. I'm going to put black com star wheels on it, ( spoke wheels are junk). The black com star came with 38 tooth sprocket and is 16 inches, the spoke has 48 tooth sprocket and is 18 inches. The front sprocket has not been changed. Please help, which one is best.

Thanks for any help, Bob

You need 530 sprockets on the 74, not 630.

On my 750K6 the factory set is 18/48 sprockets and a #530 chain. Your 1974 is the same specs. I believe.
