How to mount stock airbox
« on: September 29, 2012, 05:58:50 PM »
Hello everyone. I have a 77 "F" 750 that I'm getting together. I would like to put on the stock airbox but the problem is the mounting tabs that were on the frame are gone (cut off). I need help or creative ideas on how to do this. I've thought of "P" clamps but they will not go onto the frame tubes far enough back to bolt onto the tabs on the airbox. Any help or ideas sure would be great.

Stainless zip ties, up and over the frame, through the mailbox mount tab holes...
