Click at TF1-4
« on: October 01, 2012, 02:28:06 PM »
I swapped in a 650 cam, got it all oriented properly, reassembled everything, set the valve clearances, and went to put on the end caps. The dowels that hold the rocker arms had slid toward the outside (due to sidestand). So I put the end cap on, tightened the screw and just turned the engine over while tightening the screw til it was all good.

Now, when I turn the engine and it gets just past TF1-4 (on every rotation) there is a click. I don't remember it being there any step of the way. I loosened the clearance screws, but nothing. Any good ideas before I take everything back off?

Forgot to reset the cam chain adjuster after swapping the cams.  ::)
