I love my new job!!
« on: October 07, 2012, 11:39:51 AM »
I just needed to say this out loud, I love my new job!!!!!  I say this as I sit in the station getting caught up on everything I have had to let go the last 30 some odd weeks.  I love being a firefighter, I love being an EMT I just wish I had figured out that I wanted to do this a long time ago.  Seeing the smiles on the faces of the people I have helped is all the payment I need.  Not to mention the awesome work schedule 24 hours on the 48 hours off.  This career change has been so worth it.  Anyway back to the online training...

Very few get to do what they enjoy and get fulfillment in it. Congratulations!

Congrats!  And thanks for being one of the people who puts himself in danger to help others.

My job is also high-risk.  I fix computers.

This is really the first time I can truly say I love What I do.  I get to do so much fun stuff, others will never get the chance to do.  I'm in this for the long haul the good and the bad, and in just a few short weeks I have seen both extremes.  Morini I actually really appreciate our county IT people, they do so much work to keep our special department software going it's not funny.  Now I'm off to enjoy my 2 days off.

No need to apologize.  If we could keep more people then we loose we might actually get to do things like that.  Oh well that just means more overtime for the rest of us.
