What bike? I dunno how shipping would be for you but http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/CB550F2-SUPER-SPORT-1977/part_62460/
for my K0, I got spokes here. http://www.vintagecb750.comPretty reasonable. They've been on for 2 years, no issues. no rust.

No, the vintagecb750 ones are not SS. But they look like the originals, I think, and I wasn't too worried about SS, because I figured the bike wasn't going to exposed to the elements much. I figure they'll last quite a long time.
Do it right, get SS at Buchanan's.
$250+ is indeed retarded, and I remember reading a post a few months back where someone was pretty pissed off with their response to fitment issues they were having. Keep us posted as I was looking into this as well and was not expecting that price tag
I've used these spokes on a few wheels. Really nice. Not chrome, not stainless, but looked very close to originals.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-HONDA-CB750-Part-K0-cb-750-Spoke-Nipple-Rear-/160893478695?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2575ffa727&vxp=mtrI think they would hold up as long as the bike wasn't left outside. If you ride and get the bike wet, I think a quick towel off (or better yet blown off with air) would keep 'em looking good for a long time. They were perfect length, no need to trim 'em. Both sets will run you under $110 delivered.I've also used Buchanan's and expect for them being stainless there was no advantage. Buch's come with oil to help with installation and prevention of corrosion. I bet you can get the oil on e-bay or something.Just my $.02...Matt
