Today while riding w/ the bros on a FAST sweeper, my Vesco modified and re-geared (2 teeth less on rear sprocket)Supersport clocked 125+ MPH! (I kid-u-not) Usually on this same section my bike goes around 105 or so. Amazingly, it had more in reserve as it right up to that magic number quite easily, and only 6 plates in the Supertrapp muffler (quitest set-up). The other riders were running away on a BMW K1300GT, a Kawi Concours, an SV1000, and a TL1000 but I had no problem hanging w/ them. Aerodynamics make an incredible difference in top-end speed and stability. And just for fun, it did 125 MPH again a minute later, like no sweat.
I'll bet on a looong downhill in New Hampshire it'll do over 135 MPH w/ 10 plates in the Supertrapp.
