I'll second Dthree's...really can't figure out why I never nominated it myself 'cuz it's probably my favorite bike on here.
If it works good, it looks good...

You know me and I like the stockers ;D Nothing wrong with the other bikes, but its hard to beat the sohc4 bikes that still have the same equipment that they did 35 to 40 years ago when they rolled off the showroom floor.
And there is not a much better example of this than CoachDoc's 1974 CB550. And he is the one and only owner of this bike also. So Coach I'm nominating your pride and joy for BOTM ;)

I like to see them stock and Coach yours looks great. It's especially rewarding to hear of another original owner as well, so consider this a second of your nomination dhall57.

I hadn't seen Tin Lizzie before, but I love it, I'll second that nomination, then I'm going to find the build thread! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I like the stockers too, but I think dlhoulton did an excellent job on his build. It is one of the best looking custom builds I have seen.

I agree onepiece. Nice custom build with a little different twist 8) I just have a soft spot for the stock bikes, especially when they are as nice as Doc's.

Both are Fine Looking, alright and I would have never thought I would like a 750 Built like the "Tin Lizzie", but THAT IS One Great Looking Bike! I Am Amazed at how Fantastic it looks. Awesome Build! Not to take anything away from the 750 Cafe, as IT Is AWESOME, on it's OWN!  ;)

We still need a permanent moderator for this section folks.  If not a permanent replacement, we at least need someone to take over for next month to keep the wheels rolling :)

I would like to thank those who nominated me for this honor, but as Dimitri13 pointed out as well as I stated in my post, "She's not quiet done but getting close". If this disqualfies me then that's ok. It's an honor just to have it nominated!! I'll continue posting progress and completed pictures when she is done.
Thanks,
dlhoulton

Oh, don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to disqualify anyone, I just thought some of ya'll would get a chuckle out of the missing carbs. It took me a second to realize what was missing :P No malice intended.

Props to all of you for keeping this going and doing a darn fine job! :)

There are those unwritten rules yanno, they always pop up.  :P

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Yea, it is one of those unwritten rules.  I guess one would expect that to be understood and not need to be written.  :)

Maybe someone should add it.  :P

Hey, thanks to dhall for the nomination, which is much appreciated. I'll post a couple of better pictures when I get home tonight. Thanks again.
