Wow, figured he had more European touring to do before the triumphant return.  He might make it to Florida before GZ2?

If you don't fancy the 1500 mile ride, get a flight from Colorado Springs to Atlanta and then one to Valdosta, I'm sure we will be able to get you from the airport or there is a rentacar at the airport.

Is anyone else thinking what I'm thinking? What if Godzilla could re-unite with his brother Lefty at Valdosta? The timing might just work out; Lefty has a month to get there. It would be a fitting end to the saga, to have GZ, Lefty, Jerry, and Wilbur all together in a group picture. 8)

Son of a #$%*! He hasn't forgotten about the beer  ;) I'm doomed.

Should I be able to pull off something what are the plans there like accomodations etc? Anyone heading in from ATL? My sister lives there. Sam, where are you flying in to?

Guess I could drive my new toy but I'd need a co-pilot. Naw, it'd get dirty and I don't have the extra time.............  ;)

Are Bill and/or Jim going? Perhaps hitch a ride from ATL? I'd really need to get a ticket in the next few days within the 30 day window.... I'm sitting on 2 Southwest legs and 2 Delta tix I could use. Dammit!!

It has a 200mph speedo but only 430hp. The 'small' engine. I haven't had it past 125 YET.  ;D

I'll be looking into Atlanta flights and ride down with Bill perhaps.

I will do my best to get in on this reunion.. the week of Nov 9 is not a busy week at work so I could take some time to ride over from Arkansas to NC and maybe in time to do part of the final leg to GA.  I will keep an eye on this thread and the southern coastal thread for dates.  The wife has already given the green light for me to be gone.  I have the 750 cafe I bought from RoachCarver to ride over there instead of the little 350.  hope to see everyone there.

Start making plans you Southerners, the lizard is coming home.
Will be at SGMP Valdosta, November 9th/11th for the home coming.

Sam. ;)

Sam,

I could still turn a wheel with the little blighter here in France, but possibly requiring a bit of postage. I dare say if we did La Corniche des Cevennes on my 929 SOHC Honda GZ would subsequently join me in a verre de Vin Blanc , aiding his cultural development. I have it on good authority he  enjoys the odd Boddingtons but wishes to expand his horizons. I could also try to speak French with him, but he may not me comprendre.

Sounds like a grand plan but (please pardon my lack of French language skills) GZ #1 only par le vous Cerveza and Whiskey. He is basically an American redneck that has no etiquette and I do not believe he is retrainable but he has attempted to broaden his horizons. Kinda like me  ;D I just hope we don't get thrown in jail in Georgia. Don't know if you saw the American redneck classic film Deliverance but there was one memorable line in it - "get down there and squeal like a pig". Wish I knew how to insert that particular film clip. Maybe someone with computer skills can 'insert' it. That kinda sums up the situation should jail time happen.   ;)

Gentlemen, a few ladies, forum members and visitors,

THIS IS HAPPENING!! BE THERE  :D I will be. Many others from our forum also.

I am planning on putting a fitting end to the trials and tribulations of Godzilla I which I started back in 12/10 and of which SOOOOO many of you participated in. It was a fantastic amazing voyage. Not only will Sam be bring GZ home but he will be representing our forum on the race track. MadMtnMtrs aka Wilbur will be there to meet with GZ2 and the boys will get together and probably get inebriated. Please keep a little cash in yer pockets as we may need some bail funds.  ;D
