That lean cylinder (#1) is hotter so the PVC there starts collapsing first and the top folds down toward the bottom as the rushing air sucks the fold toward the inlet... you detect the strange engine sound and lean down to the left looking which causes your right grip to increase the throttle unexpectedly... the added fuel rush and throttle creates a backfire response from the melting closed clogging stack and a directed supertorch flame shoots through the tiny opening left in the distorted stack !
"YEEEOOUUCCCCCH!!" a scream is heard as your left leg riding chaps are instantly penetrated and your upper calf will never be the same. Luckily the effort accompanying the painful scream saves your face from crispiness.
I'm not sure if the cars in front and behind you survive the 700+lb IED.
