Tire Question
« on: October 05, 2012, 02:13:25 PM »
Hi, I'm looking for some new Tires for my 77 CB550 and some of the ones that catch my eye, dont seem to have a size for the rear that will fit. I have heard that some front tires can be fit to the rear, but how would I go about finding out? Bridgestone S11 Spitfire's are one example?
Any info is appreciated!

Thanks

try denniskirk.com I have a 750 but i know they had a lot of choices for the spitfires that i bought. I got them very recent so its not old news. Make sure you get rear specific for those tires bc they "aren't" interchangeable

I actually just rode it for the first time tonight so I can't say too much but they have a good rep

Its like a good middle of the road. You get watershedding abilities, decent contact patch, good grip and good price

its a good all around tire, not some road ripping 9 grand on the tach at all times, balls out knee scraper but a good tire

I've put the s11 spitfires on my 550k about 6 months ago and they're definitely a great "bang for your buck" tire. Highly recommended.
