Swing arm bearing removal? Kawasaki zr750 zr-7? Any ideas.
« on: June 25, 2012, 10:46:17 AM »
I am gutting my brothers swingarm for powdercoating. I got most of these bushings out but now I have two needle bearings that refuse to come out and its hard to get a tool to hit them through from the other side. Anyone ever do this?

Yes I made a tool just for it. Get your self a long peice of rod an weld a hardend washer onto one end to form a lip or protruding edge. Once you have that done grind it flat an  take off the excess weld around the sides. Took five minutes an those needle roller bearings came right out.
