750 mystery exhaust
« on: October 05, 2012, 11:56:13 PM »
Hi folks!

Can anyone identify who made this 750 exhaust for sale on Ebay? I have a set just like them and there's no name, no numbers, no nuthin' to tell who made them!?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-CB750-CB750SS-CB750F-75-76-SOHC-Header-Pipes-Exhaust-/330796021282?hash=item4d04fab622&item=330796021282&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

Thanks!

They look like stock F headers to me. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

I just bought a 1976 CB750F and it had that same exhaust on it. But with that said that is no guarantee that they were original to this bike.

Seller has thousands of parts listed, on first paper I found a 750 Kerker..reasonable, and a cheap set ofKZ 750 hi dome used pistons cheap...check pin size could be good for big bore cb 500...

Thanks!

That's kinda what I thought except that all my other Honda exhausts have stuff stamped on them, at least a part number. But this set of headers I've got, identical to those pictured, are clean as a whistle, nothing stamped on the metal at all.

Happy to say they're in perfect shape and came as extra parts on the bike. Apparently former owner took them off and installed a 4 into 1 and let those rust out instead of the originals. Works for me!!

Thanks, guys!
