latest find 65 Honda Dream
« on: October 15, 2012, 08:31:03 AM »
Just picked her up yesterday.  Im going to keep the buco brackets since mine are missing the lower parts that wrap around the pipes.  Then sell the bags and my old brackets separately.  Then sell the bike on ebay. I get attached to these old bikes though. I half a mind to keep it next to my other dream. Fixed the tail light, needs speedo cable.  Its titled and ready to roll

How's the inside of the tank?  Was it a running rider, or does it need love?

running with a title.  and the inside of the tank is mint.  And my definition of mint is show room new. I couldnt believe it when I pulled the cap off.   It does need some carb work but ran pretty good when i took her for a spin.   Im going to swap out the buco brackets with the ones on my black dream because mine are not complete.  Then ill sell the Red dream buco's on honda305 forum.  After that i may keep the bike, but i could flip this one and make some $$.

Im still building an h1 and another cb750.

Mind if I ask how much you'd ask for those bags?

im asking 325.00 shipped.    very fair price  comes with the brackets,  but the lower part that cups the mufflers is missing.   has lights and wiring in the bags.

as for the bike, not sure if ill sell or not. but i could prob get 1700.00 to 2000.00 for it.   I think.

I know they're not your specialty, but do you happen to know if those work on the CA95's as well?

oh the benly?    i would think so,  it is a smaller bike.   There are two factors.   is the rear fender the same width as the 305 dream.  if so, it would fit fine.  and are the shock bolts in about the same place.   we can measure that out if you want. I have these listed on the honda305 forum right now.  Worst case is just have a couple pieces made for the bracket to make the adjustments.

pics of the bracket, hope this helps,   FYI the bracket is now powdercoated black.
