Again I get another guy who basically gives the I dont give a #$%* about your family members dying thing, You should have shipped my part even if it was a Holiday. I think we will pick a date here. I'll even start it off. And we will call it "Hoons-Day". This is the be kind to hoons day. We will just lump the Yama-Crap riders in the "Hoons-Day" celebrations.

Yea, it's a 73' RD350. Not in too bad shape. Needs carbs gone through, front brake system
rebuilt and maybe crank seals (hope not). Like to get a decent set of exspansion chambers to set
it off but, I'll probably do what I have to and just ride it when I'm feeling like doing some
screaming down the hwy to let off some steam. Not a bad bike and they do run well, don't they?
Most everybody O know of that's had one, wishes they had another one.

We had one of those in that had been dumped and partly disassembled. That thing was the MOST painful bike to part out that we have ever done. The only parts anyone wants to buy is the plastic or the gauges. ::)

Nice looking FJ.  It looks like you have taken care of the FJ's woeful lack of roll-on capability.  ;D

Legend guys want 1200 cylinders, heads, transmissions, ignitions etc. I'd say parting out an early 1000 Hurricane is 10 times worse and that's a Honda (and nobody wants ANY of those parts). Magna's, 80's Goldwings and Suzuki Intruders come to mind when thinking of nightmares to work on.

i've got hold of an '81 rd350 that i'm going to prep for competition in a vintage racing club next year.  should be a lot of fun.

if you ever come across an engine/transmission for it - i'd love to have a spare ready to go. with the number of rebuilds those things require it'd be nice to be able to swap back and forth (pulling the engine is a little easier than on a cb750, heh).
