Anyone have some nifty tricks or tips for getting the rear wheel and the spacer back into the swingarm? I tried looking for other post on this but the search pulled up everything I am not looking for... newbie.....

woops...It's a '76 750....  it is too tight a fit with the spacer and everything else. I checked the diagram and I have everything in place correctly or so it seems.

First off, get somebody to give you a hand if you don't already.  I keep a piece of 2X4 around that is cut in a wedge shape.  I use it to hold the wheel up while I line everything up and jiggle the axle in.  The wedge shape allows you to adjust the height of the wheel.
