Swapping Emails, Among Forum Friends
« on: October 09, 2012, 10:12:09 AM »

A thread by Rocking-M, about an email address. Sometimes ya might just want to throw a message to a buddy or you might not can get on the forum, for one reason or another, so I am suggesting something that I am embarrassed I didn't think of sooner. I am going to be asking for others to swap address with me and if, for whatever reason, any of us are separated, we can Still stay in touch, after all we ARE like "Extended Family".   ;)

I'm not sure about others but I put my regular E-mail address in my Profile for anybody who reads it to see. Just for the reason you've mentioned or for folks who want to contact me without going through the Board.   ...cougar...

You are right, a number of folks do like you and I, but some don't and that's their choice. I just suddenly woke up and realized that if I didn't get on the stick and get email addresses, I could someday, be without a way to get hold of Friends (or, in the case of This forum, Family Members. Some of us on here, have been through some big issues and gotten support from "The Family" like Crazy). Thank you, for Your input on here too.  Bill ;)

No, sorry, that doesn't happen. When someone replies to a pm, there isn't any email address there, because pms are totally accomplished, on the site. Some have their email address listed in their profile and then, it will show below their avatar as well. Thanks for your input though. and btw, Good Morning to You too.  :)

Yeah AND it helps to keep spammers and whatever, from messing with you and cuts back on identity theft.

I heard that AND I can well imagine the kind of things they have tried. Thing is, IF those people would put THAT kind of effort into an HONEST Sort Of Work, They'd Be Money ahead AND not have to worry about getting caught!  ::)

Hey Bill, Good to here your doing good and that your dad is also. How is Georgia treated you? I did a mapquest on Hartwell and your only about 4 1/2 hrs. away from me in Greensboro,NC. Looks like pretty much a straight shot down 85.

Georgia is treating me pretty well, thanks for asking. 4 1/2 hrs? that's not too bad. I am starting to learn that I am not TOO far from several SOHC4 members And also Some of the Charger Forumz members as well. I've already hooked up with an Atlanta Based Chapter of The "Deep South Mopars" (DSM) and get to the point to where I can become active in both groups.  ;)
