You made me think about it after I cheered knowing someone else would like to know what these control freaks are up to.
Every time any owner strips whatever precious Honda part the horrified purists parts go up in value. That's not the part that bothers them.
What bothers them is they sat up late at night, their breast full of wonder and estrogen, unable to sleep, dreaming about their lovely darling and all her glory... and next thing you know someone else doesn't share their emotional deluge and their reaction is they must spread their mind museum as far as they possibly can, taking over as much of the real world as possible.

Hey Warwick, I just got a funny idea that I'll post just to make up for my foul mouthed hater hatin' rude pseudo sarcasticness...ever seen a tz750?...how about one pipe in the more traditional location and one pipe under the seat?  I love the assymetrical look of the tz with pipes sticking out all over the place...

Drool...

#$%* everyone...there are plenty of mass produced #$%* boxes for your faggot ass to rape...good things are not made any more...go ahead ruin some more junk...suck it #$%*...if your bull#$%* actually works goood(I doubt it)....this #$%* IS NOT MADE ANYMORE...yes, I just yelled at you
yeah Terry...gotta stop posting when I get home from the bar...there is a huge moped rally in my town right now and these hipster mopeders were crowding up my favorite watering hole...I'm alright now...twin?, I thought this thing was a cb550?...

edit; I now see the single downtube, front drum, etc.

The ONLY reason the dangerous scooters are being sold again is that they passed a law allowing the mopeds and scooters to be driven without a motorcycle license, only a car license is required.

I never thought I would see scooters re introduced after so many were hurt and killed on them. With small wheels and such a long wheel base they might as well be driving  regular motorcycles with stock rake and frame twice as long.

At least HONDA is putting larger wheels on them.

ANY Honda CB100 or trail 90 is 1000 times better than any scooter.

Around here you don't need any license at all car or motorcycle you don't even need insurance, all you need is some sort of photo ID and you're good to go. In fact most around here with a moped almost assuredly are riding a moped/scooter because they got busted for a DUI and got their drivers license taken away.

Ill follow along on this jacked up thread. I like it when people build interesting bikes. I like it better when they build them out of bikes that were total crap in the first place. Like you are doing. Im sad for the Nice stock Cb550 i sold to a hipster in LA last week. But hey its his now and the cash is mine. Build on.

Why not? Those things (CBX550) were just as bad as those old boat anchor Honda twins mate, so no harm done. As long as you don't buy a TZ750 and turn it into a chopper, I couldn't care less. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

You're right if its a scooter or a moped: defined as designed for less than 25mph, less than 50cc, less than 2hp. More
than that and its considered a motorcycle for licensing purposes.

Now granted there are flagrant violators and many scooters that appear small can well outperform the criteria, but the law is clear. Bigger than 50cc its a motorcycle.

And larger scooter technology has lept forward. They are fast, comfortable, and as safe as any other 2 wheeler in its own right.

Lucky and others may be living in the distant past.
