Thanks Goldarrow will keep a eye on it. This project wont be done till summer with the baby coming in January I wont have much time so its no big rush. On the bright side several forum members might be helping me out with a new set.

Thanks for everyone's input and Lucky those carbs you listed are for a 750 this is a 550 but thanks for the thought. Ok it's time to wash my hands dinner soon  ;)

here are the pics of the extra carbs i got, need some cleaning but main jet springs are good and nothing is deteriorating

IDK if this will work for those or not but one of the towers on my set was a bit correded. A tip i found on here is a, i was to say .357, bullet casing fits over these like a dream. A lil jb stick and a couple of those might help....
