It's a long shot but I'm in transit on my move to LA with my bike in the bed of the truck waiting to get riden. I'm looking for anyone interested in riding the loop from Flagstaff up to the South Point of the Grand Canyon this Saturday the 13th. Let me know if you're interested and I ll give you my number.

It's going to be 27 degrees there tomorrow morning. You might consider this event instead:

Thanks for the info but I only get this chance once so I went for it.

Got a late start. Rolled in around noon. You gotta use your resources to unload solo.

Got it.

Tossed in a new fuel filter. The last one was almost completely stopped up. Once I got checked in and ate some food it was around 2:30

Route180 through the state park

Found some dirt roads to explore. Flat track tires were happy to oblige

Made it. I couldn't believe you could literally walk right off this ledge.

Sun was starting to set. Better get moving.

Last fill up for a bit. I was strongly advised NOT to go back the way I came due to the wildlife after dark

Setting way faster than I thought.

Had to stop at the first exit off 40E  to thaw out and add any extra layers I brought. Still 27 miles away from the hotel dammit. Once I made it back to the hotel switched to the weather channel and saw 42 degrees but the wind at 75 made it more like 30 something.
No regrets though. Thank you Arizonans for the hospitality.
