Here is how the decal came out.  I want to thank SohRon for working up the design and myhondas for the awesome job with printing it up.  In the pic, the top is the original, the middle is shiny and the bottom is a brushed metallic.  It’s a tough choice between the two, but I think originally the decal was more like the shiny version rather than the brushed.  I think this forum is outstanding - that we are all here to preserve these bikes and because of great members like SohRon and myhondas.

Thanks for posting these, and for the shout out, Gonzo. The pic seems a little dark and out of focus, but I'm sure the stickers came out great!

Happy to have been of help!

Wow.  I'll have to check the dimensions but that looks like the real thing.

I bought some tags so I could check them out.  Here’s a couple of pics.  The full size shot has the repro on the bottom.  You can see that is slightly shorter than the original.

The close up has the repro on the right.  You can tell that the font is slightly different especially on the o’s.

Overall it’s not bad but it’s not perfect.  The repro appears to be a little lighter print but at least it has the right thickness and feel.  I have to admit that I’m a little disappointed.  I thought it would be a little better than that.  If you look at the repro by itself it would be hard to pick out the flaws so I guess it's better than nothing.
