Anyone for an ambitious project?
« on: October 11, 2012, 03:06:59 pm »
Just checking out the items in next week's Bonhams sale and spotted this

I'll be very impressed by anyone who gets that restoration finished.

I didn't spot much SOHC stuff in the sale, couple of 400s, a 750 and a 550, none of which are anything particularly interesting. A nice plate though.....

You need someone like Paul Brodie to get that finished.

I started off with a frame and fork for an 06 Indian. My buddy ended up with it, not restored but looks like a complete bike.
That one looks like a very nice start..

Sure it would make restoring a Sandcast look cheap and easy.

I think that there is plenty of bike there. It would make the perfect bases for a cannonball run racer. Some times when a bike or car is that old an complete people have a harder time modifying it. The way that bike sits you can build it just the way you want with out taking a lot of flack.
