I got one with the carbs glued shut, original tires, rusty chrome for 150.00 and had the repairs made for an additional 120.00. It is a 1974,so that makes it a 5-5-5 bike. Had 7200 on the clock and now has almost 20,000. I check the cam chain occasionally and change the oil. Believe it or not,I am still running the old points on the thing.
I do like the six speed, and for the life of me,I cannot understand why Honda did not put an extra gear on the 750's.
For the fun I have had beating on this thing,I would surely buy another for 600.00 in nice original condition. You can hit 60MPH easy in 4th gear and ride at power 70MPH in 5th and still cruise at 70MPH in 6th,but at the condition mine is in,80MPH is about all it has in 6th, pushing all that wind.
These bikes are easy to work on
