Here is a picture of the plugs.  The are a tad more tan then the pictue lets on but otherwise that is what they looked like.  I have been running them now for roughly 9 months D7's in all types of weather and riding styles (town, freeway, twisties)

I would be happy with plugs looking like this. Actually mine look pretty much the same.

If the plugs were just a little bit shinier, we should be able to see the smile on your face about those plugs.

I'd certainly be happy with them.

 The only other thing I might do is note where the deposits form on the insulator deeper into the plug "well".  There should be a transition from white-ish tan to black leading to the same color as the outer ring near the threads.  Nice to know how deep that is in the "well" and it's part of "reading the plugs".
