Happy to get off 125 and I70.

On our last CO bike trip, we had one rule: NO interstates.
I advise the same for you.

Okay, thanks!

I'm just rolled into Craig, CO.

Two thumbs up for the Hondaman ignition! The bike is very happy.

12:30. Too late to call. Hope you guys hooked up. Glad you made it OK. HAD to be a good ride! Welcome to just a sampling of the US Rocky Mountains. Pictures!

Where's the next stop? Baker, NV, Salt Lake?

Great eclectic place just east of the Great Basin. This is the place I alluded too. Worth a VERY relaxed spot before you get to Ely, NV.

Another benefit of Hondaman's ignition unit for me: +4 mpg :)

Great explanation of Hondaman's ignition on your website! That made it very easy to understand how it functions.

If you other guys are only checking in here you need to click on the link to Frank's website!

They don't call it the lonelist road for nothing. You may not find a motel in Austin or Eureka. Plus you have an extra hour again. Pacific time zone.

Yep, I'm good. Stopped at a place called Cold Spring. A family run RV park/resturant/motel. It's about 50 miles from Fallon.

Great day, I'm beat. Forgot about the extra hour.

Got off the bike lots for pictures.

If you don't have a plan, you may want to head south to Lake Tahoe via 431 - Mt Rose Hwy.

Lake Tahoe is really beautiful and the temps should be a lot more comfortable than the desert you just rode through.

Yes it is! I used to live off of 4 in Vallecito (by Murphys). A few years back....me and a good friend went over 4 and took Monitor pass down to 395. Went south to Walker (Walker BBQ is the bomb!!). A little farther south from there is Sonora Pass which we took back across. Nice little 250 mile day. Glad your trip is going so well. Enjoy!!

The next week of your trip may be the most memorable as far as riding goes.
Do you plan to cross the Golden Gate Bridge? Great photo opportunities in that area.

Seems like you are having a great trip so far.  Try to ride Highway 12 from Lewiston ID to Missoula  MT and if you go through the Bighorns you have a few choices 14A, 14 and 16.  All are great but 14A has Medicine Wheel, an ancient Native American historical site.  Ten Sleep Canyon on 16 is very nice.  When you come through Minnesota on your way home I will not be here.  Sorry to miss you but I will be over in your stomping ground enjoying Canadian hospitality. ;D  Wishing you safe travels.
