Steve-o, I was warned away from North Dakota due to oil drilling.

Congratulations on your retirement. The trip sounds awesome and looks like you're having a blast. I too am from Toronto. Hopefully I'll bump into you on the road if you still did want to ride when you finally get home. :) ride safe brother.

Thanks, honda55K.

Scottly, google tells me 17 hours. In real life, who knows. ;)

I've actually found google to be fairly accurate over well known routes. The main factor on a bike is I tend to stop more often and for longer times than if I were traveling by car.

You WILL be tempted to make a hard push for home near the end. My advice is to take it easy, rather than pull a 20 hour day/night. Been there, done that. ;)

Good advice again, thanks Scottly. I've experienced this many times on previous trips.

Spending the night in the nicest $35 motel I've been in, in Norway, WI. It's called the Viking motel on Norway st. :)

Sorry, didn't know your location! How far away are you?

Do we know anyone in/near Espanola, Thessalon, or Blind River, ON?

Thanks Bob. Yes, let's get together.

Right now, I need to devote some family time and get the BMW's running so I can sell one, to pay the credit card bill.
