Rearset brackets
« on: October 25, 2012, 02:34:41 PM »
I plan on using new rearsets, either universal or some type off a cbr.  Does anyone make brackets so its possible to move them back away from a stock location.  Or would it be easier to fabricate your own?  By the way I'm looking for something to fit a 78 750K

Raask and Tarozzi have rearsets that I know of. I'd recommend Tarozzi rearsets from FastFromThePast. That's where I got mine and I had a wonderful time dealing with them. Excellent communication and customer support.

Tarozzi rearsets won't work with a 78k.

Raask will - bolts on but you have no height adjustability which may or not be a problem depending on how tall you are.

If you want to use universal rearsets then you will have to fab brackets of your own.

Do a search. There are a ton of posts about this. Here's a good start ;)  http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=43906.0

This is a 77 frame with Tarozzis that are height adjustable.

What I should have made clear is that the Tarozzis do not bolt on to a 78. Fabrication work of some description is required.

Dryden - I've long admired your build and rearset bracket. It's so clean and neat. Genius!
