Traded a titled 360 frame and $200 for this baby. Not one spot of rust. Crumby rattle can paint job, but that's all. Guy wanted it gone because gas kept coming from overflow tubes onto his garage floor. Here's some pics.

I dig the bags. I think I might just add a paint job to the tank, bags, and side covers, and call it a day!! No cafe for this one, its way too nice. Did the 76 550k only come in Garnet Brown?

Yeah, I've been getting lucky lately. Bikes start going really cheap up here in fall and winter. Maybe I can do all the buying and ship them south

What paint colors are you thinking? Not a fan of the brown. The bags would look great gloss black with contrast color on tank and side covers. Red or silver?

I'm selling these bags to pay for tank and side covers paint job. I'd like some stock rear signals, a little cash, and shipping costs. Bags don't have any dents, but only one locks with key. The PO installed some straps to lock them. Lights and wiring included.

Doesn't the 78 have a recessed gas cap? If so, I don't think it would fit.

Ya the 78 does, I'm rebuilding my bike this winter and was gonna get rid of the recessed area and make it all flush like the earlier cb750's. I'll start a thread for my build. sorry for the thread hijack :s
