CB750 in a music video
« on: October 26, 2012, 12:21:35 PM »
Spotted a 750 in some random music video I came across. I think its a 75k if I'm not mistaken. Also, fun fact, the girl in the vid is U2's daughter.

Reminds me of a movie that I saw in the early 70's "The City That Waits To Die".  Some scenes near the beginning of the movie of CB750's driving around San Francisco ( a minute or so into the movie).

Pretty cool! But she seems high maintenance. Shoulda kept the bike and ditched the girl ;)
The darn fool didn't know it couldn't be done...so he went ahead and did it anyway.

Nice!, but he sold the bike!--not a good message to be putting out there, I'd say.

I've done a lot of things in my life that I'm not proud of...and the things I AM proud of, "are disgusting"

My favorite part of Kojack is that at the beginning of each episode Kojack would throw a Tootsie Pop wrapper into the river over his shoulder. He was a cop and had no regard for the law. Later in real life someone threw a match into that river and the river caught on fire it was so polluted.

You need to learn to down shift before you ruin that gear box.
You were just banging down on that lever.
It is best to rev it just a little before each down shift. It helps match up the shifting dogs into the spinning gear.

BTW...The girl does not usually care about the motorcycle that much, that is a guy thing. She cares more about you.

I will ditch any vehicle before I'll ditch a person. But sometimes I'll ditch a person (or a bike) completely separately from the other.

Besides- sounds like he was selling it to go back to Ireland- works out for everyone, he gets to go back, and we keep the bike over here ;)
1976 CB550K- sold
2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 500- sold
2000 CB750 Nighthawk - sold
1975 XL350 - crashed
2004 Suzuki Vstrom 650 - sold

I was going to say the same thing. Banging through gears pretty hard. At least shift sooner while the rpms are up there.
