Another find 1968 Sears Allstate Puch 250 Twingle

found this an hour north of indy.  half decent restore.  I was going to pass then he said "just make an offer"   I got him down another 300.00 bucks and then he said i also have a few boxes of parts.   score!!

fun bike, titled,  runs perfect.  gotta love the smokers!!

I believe Jawa sold some motorcycles through Sears - the engine looks very familiar.

yeah this is that 250 Twingle     one head, two bores/pistons, one carbs, two exhaust..

Looks great Tango. I always thought the old two strokes were pretty good machines. Simple and pretty easy to repair.

neat-o!  I like those "off-brands". They are seldom found in that condition.

Man you have the luck finding these sweet old scooters Tango. I know a guy that has a Benelli rebadged as a Wards I believe a 175cc. Nice patina but no rust or dents. He wants $1000.
