Never enough. It'  was 80' or better today,  and so I get far from home without enough clothes.  I have a pullover fleece and jeans, and a pair of thinsulate gloves in the pack now, but  a few nights where it cooled off without sleeves or gloves  were chilly getting home.

Teknic jacket with liner, Firstgear winter gauntlets, Tourmaster textile pants over my pants, work boots, and helmet. Going to get some River Road tectile pants soon. My Tour Masters are getting threadbare.

I'm on the left.  Long johns insulated bibs and coverals.  Sweatshirt and leather jacket.  Wasnt going fast but did hit snow.  Adrenalin was flowing so didnt notice being cold untill latter. Ski gloves. Dont know how Craig made it as he didnt seem to have much on.  More pics of this in the relay ride threads. One of ice covering my leg.
My hands are the only thing that really bother me anymore.  Like to do something like hippo hands.

Good down to 35 (the lowest I've seen here in Orlando):

Full face helmet with generic thin nylon-y balaclava

Alpinestar textile winter gloves with thinsulate (gauntleted) although prior to getting these, I just wore bulky leather ski gloves.

Firstgear Kilimanjaro jacket with it's liner and a generic nylon 'quilted' jacket under that.  Office dress shirt / undershirt under that.

Office Docker-type slacks, long johns, JCWhitney cheap leather chaps.

Good for current 15-mile commute at 55-ish mph.  Ride time of <45 minutes.

No cold bits at all...  :)

The one thing that will make it bearable is hand protection. Get a set of handlebar muffs or make 'em yourself. Keep the wind off and your fingers ON!

Commando sweater or fleece under leather jacket plus winter motorcycle pants I had made in Prague over Costco brand base layer.  It works well enough but the biggest thing for me is full face helmet I started to wear few weeks ago.

What freezing air does to your nose and cheeks in open face helmet is pretty brutal even with balaclava,
