CB 500 Spoket Hex Nuts size?
« on: November 03, 2012, 05:13:05 PM »
According to Honda CB500 K0 schematics, the rear wheel sprocket hex nuts are 10mm. I order OEM Honda nuts and they are too big. I went to the hardware store and got 10M nuts and they're too small. 7/16 seems to work the best, but the threads are a little wide and they are pretty snug, probably could force it, but don't want to risk it.

Any ideas? Do they make a 11M fine thread metric nuts?

Trouble is a lot of people rate the bolt size by the spanner size which is totaly wrong----10mm spanner = 6mm bolt

parts book sez 94030-10000 10mm hex nut four of them
