Just found this thread for BOTY. Kinda brings a tear to my eye...I've been wishing this was back in my garage. Sold to a guy in Grand Rapids MI, then found it was sold again on to a guy in New Mexico. A few weeks ago, I ran across pics of it sitting at the Iron and Air booth at Barber.
Ok, so here's a load of pics...sorry no video (yet). Performance? It goes like stink!
I call it the Hybrid, as it's a '73 CB350F frame with a '75 CB400F engine...and a load of other parts from various other bikes/makes. Short story, bought the engine from a guy thinking I would install in another 350 I built for the wife. That bike ran so well I really didn't want to replace it's engine. Down the street from my place, I found a guy selling a 350 rolling chassis with no title for practically nothing. After obtaining a title, I figured it's time to get started.
The engine was found to be in fantastic shape. I disassembled and went through the usual items for good measure.
