He is correct in the sheer number of bikes out there with no papers. There cannot be that many hot bikes. For every one I see with papers, there are at least 5-8 without papers. Were these all gifts to be lugged out of someone's yard or basement? Or did a lot of kids go to college and not bother with the bike?

At least he's trying. Believe it or not, that's how I found my Indian.  A guy called who really needed the money, and to quote the end of his letter, "I really need the money, so don't worry about a low offer."
Took me 2 days to calm myself so I could even dial the phone.   I was actually fair for what it was, but sheesh-
who'da guessed?!

I see the doc on friday to get these stinkin bandages off and if I can fit my hand into a glove and get a throttle rocker I`ll be ready to ride this weekend.
Got the ridin` fever bad ;)

Oh yeah,gotta wean myself off of these hellacious pain pills first too.( drool and spittle hitting keyboard )  :P
