Thundersprint
« on: November 07, 2012, 10:36:18 AM »
I've jus heard that the Thundersprint will not be in Northwich next year but moving to Anglesey...?

No explaination, no chance of it being held in Northwich???

Anyone know why?

Best Regards,

Alex

I was only talking to Frank two days ago, there is a problem with Northwich and no date has been set but there was no mention of Anglesey, I'll keep you posted if I hear anything Alex.

I got this from Frank today Sam:

First, many thanks to everyone for all your patience. This is the shortest of notes to let you know that there will not be a Thundersprint at Northwich next year. This is an absolute decision and will not be changed.

However, there will be a new, and super exciting, Thundersprint at the fabulous Anglesey Race Circuit. This really is a stunning venue and the new Thundersprint will give lots of time for you to try the track if you wish or take part in a spectacular cavalcade.

We will be using the full, international circuit which is 2.1 miles of spectacular straights, climbs, curves and sweeping bends. I have ridden all over the world and the Anglesey track – you will also hear it called Ty Croes – is as good as a race circuit gets.

If your bike was eligible for the Thundersprint in Northwich then it will be fine for the Anglesey circuit Thundersprint.

The event will take place on Sunday 21 April.

We will let you know all the details in the next few days but put the date in your diaries now – it’s going to be a cracker.

Best wishes

Frank

What time did you get it Alex ? if it was after 5.15pm it has gone to my works email. :(
I'm off racing in the States in the morning so I'm not sure when I will be able to check in on this.
The sad thing is that I've had a special gearbox constructed along with sprockets specially for the short twisty Northwich circuit.
Bugger. >:(

Sam. :(

Hi Sam,
I received this at 5:57pm so you should have this in you inbox at work.
Have a safe trip to the States, if I hear any more I will let you know.
Bugger about the gearbox, maybe take it somewhere like Croix?

All the best,
A
