« on: November 03, 2012, 06:04:21 PM »
been sitting on a drive for a few years so i knock on the door and manage to bag it for 150 pounds, but theres a catch he lost the (transponder  :'()  key, i guess £250 for a new lock, key and ecu is a fair price unless some one on here knows a cheaper way ?  ::)

i think retro has a point , for 150 quid i would be very suspicious . if it does check out ok try looking on one of the racing forums , the first thing they did when they raced them was take the lock off and replace the ecu with a kit one . someone may have the road stuff to sell .

;DI've been to the Honda stealership they will sell me a key when I can prove I own the bike although very pointless as he pointed out its not got the chip for bike ?  bikes not stolen, sat in some ones front garden for years with a electrical problem, turned out to be a loose earth, ignition comes on just won't start, rather annoyed as I want to jump on it and see if it really does 155+
