If they are the T mount they are 73-76. If they are finned. Real early calipers have different bolt heads on them. .You have to shim the 2nd side about 3 or 4 mm.

Yellow wire is most likely power in for the h/l.  Check with your ohmeter, one lead on yellow and the other on white- should have zero resistance  on low beam : switch the lead from white to blue, turn h/l switch to high and you should have zero resistance.  Then find a spare black wire and connect it to the yellow...Larry

That looks like a RHS for a K0 750.  After the red kill knob came in, but before they switched to the K1 carburetors with push/pull cables.

Got the front brake system all connected and mocked up with dual front discs.  Like them.  Of course, leaking MC, rebuild kit shopping list.

Got the rear brake system out of the box for refurbish

Took them all apart for degreasing and wire wheel, lots of holes here.

What made this system interesting to me was that many pieces of bolts are branded. Anyone recognize them?

Also the temp hit 105 today, so took the kids to my brother's house for swimming  party

Swimming lesson for the 2.5 year old, not bad for a first time in swimming pool

Got the front end all done, waiting for the wheel.  Fixed the mc leaking, found brake joint line off gold wing in parts pile now I can have front brake light. Cleaning up rusty chrome gauges and painted them up.

Cleaning and painting chrome fork ears and blinkers. I'm probably wasting my time and paint on these as paint don't stick so well on chrome surfaces.

Got everything all bolted up

placed and replaced few left/right hand control internal parts and got the blinkers and headlight working, yay!   don't have the tail light assembly yet.  the old one came off of a suzuki and all broken.  thinking of putting in tail lights from 900F but not sure of the fit.

dropped off front and rear wheel adapters to local machine shop, got a quote of $75 a piece (two pieces) for the front, not sure of price on the rear adapter yet as will find out tomorrow

looking for some tires for the wheels.

100/90/19 front
110/90/18 rear
running tubeless?
valve stem whole 3/8" or about 10mm?

do these sound about right for these wheels?

Hey gold dude.....isn't it a good feeling to get the electrical working?! It's my week point (color blindness doesn't help) so always good for me.

I like the K1 tail light, not as big as the later models.  Or, want a K5 for shipping?

Thanks for the offer Steve, will snap a pic of the Tracy body tail. I don't think tail light from our bike would fit though.

I read that this body is the 3rd and last iteration of they made in the 80s, the 70s 750 were still popular so they made them for our bikes, with larger tank capacity and remote oil tank

Here's tail of Tracy body

Tail light and plate mount

Found a later K tail and bracket from parts pile, look like it might work.

Will have to come up with a bracket to mount to the body so the tail doesn't fall of while riding

Tested the tail light and brake light, all working.

This one is getting so close being back on the road!

Your idea :) but the k5 bracket wouldn't fit in the tail.

and so few new toys just showed up on the front door!  fresh new rubbers, foam pods, and an extra NOS front Henry Abe wheel.  the wheel is geourgous for what i think is cheap deal.  foam pods look wayyyyy cool.  check it out.

seen quite a few bikes with CR carbs and long pods, looks wayyy cool

on the bad side, haven't heard back from the machine shop about the wheel adapters, will probably give him a visit and take my parts back.  or am i being too impatient?  754, you have pm coming your way.

Neither, and I thought you knew.  Got the  Shinko 712.  Very like them on my 550s, and cheap too.  Did quite a few twisties during the GZ relay and they were awesome.

Got tires partially put on, waiting for tubes to come in.  Was going for tubeless, but changed mind as these wheel may cause slow leak.

Guy at the milling shop said wheels adapters will be done next week....shall wait and see.

Bike looking sad, almost ready to be on road but can't.

Also changed out oil pressure switch.

Spent saturday afternoon cleaning my workshop....the more I clean, the more messy.

Does look a little sad.  Love your hanging art! Your wife must be very easy going, mine would have a fit.

Time to update a bit thead a bit.

After waiting for 3 months, which seems like forever, went to the shop that I dropped of the wheel adapters and have them duplicate, NO progress! No new adapters  >:( so i took all my old parts back.  This is why i dont like to deal with shops.  but this may be a good thing as I had a feeling that the guy might charge me an arm and leg if they were done.

I have also been working on my rear disc brake but no luck. Took them off, put back on, refill fluid, for at least 10 times, but have no braking pressure at the wheel.  I'm hitting a dead end with this set up.

For all these times and labor wasted may be for the better, I don't know but will see how this turns out.  Im changing the total look of the bike now.  So, fast forward >> until this last tuesday, I picked up a set of pipes here

Old oil deposit on one pipe got cleaned up nice

No end baffles

This is how I got the pipes
