Gas tank idear?
« on: November 09, 2012, 03:06:53 PM »
:-\ Hey guys....Working on another project and wanted some feedback type opinions....

Has anyone seen or done or perhaps have photos of a faux type tank?

Humm....   Kinda like a plastic tank underneath a firberglass mold.

Sorry if it is hard to understand....

Ill be soon fitting a new cbr 600 motor into a Cb750 frame....  Still would like a older tank look but I dont believe I am going to have room for it....   Any ideas?

With enough imagination, it could work.  The main thing I would be worried about is the 600 motor turning the 750 frame into a pretzel, but there have been 750's built that produce big HP so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.  I would keep it in the back of my mind whilst building though.
