I think the next generation (my kids, in their 30's) think our shows were pretty corny Eric, and looking at some now, I'd be inclined to agree, but it was a different time then. Sadly I've seen some doco's about some of our favourite actors and the trouble that they got themselves into, or their dirty secrets, and I don't feel so inclined to watch some of those shows anymore.
I did watch the remake of "True Grit" on Monday though, and loved it, it's a really good remake with great writers (The Cohen Brothers) and a great cast. Noting wrong with John Wayne's version, but Jeff Bridges and his fellow actors did a great job.
