Toytuff has a nice CBX refresh going on what started as a nice example of the late faired CBX ('82). I would not mind having one like that if I could afford it. The CB1100, yeah I would even consider it, but it is less affordable than a nice CBX. The CBX would probably be a faster bike hands down.
But you better be mechanically adept to maintain the six cylinder beast...or, have deep pockets ($) and be good friends with a skilled mechanic who can do the work for you if you aren't able.

(Edit corrected CB900 references to CBX...)

Six cylinder? CBX1000 surely you mean.
'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

That's a bit disappointing, not much HP, and not much torque either.  :-\

that ride report was dissapointing too.... thought aussie journos were bit more mean... quite a bit of %$$ licking going on there.

i think i finally understood whats bugging me with this CB1100. It doesnt even know replica of WHAT bike its trying to be. CB750K? CB750-F DOHC? CB900? SevenFifty? Lost in time.

Just look how much leaner lines this one's got.... They only needed to pull out the old tooling and manufacture the same tank/side panels/tail combo and bingo. IMHO

"%$$ Licking"? In a motorcycle magazine that relies on Honda's advertising dollars? Unheard of! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

Yes you are correct;  guess that Ambien is causing memory loss after all...
I will fix that error...

It looks as if Honda is going to bring it to the states. Wow! I've been wanting this bike since it was shown in Tokyo a few years ago. Surprisingly, to me, the price is reasonable. I just hope that my compatriots can get past our V-twin-centric view of motorcycles and justify Honda's decision to bring it here.

So where will I park a fifth motorcycle?

Glad to hear it will now be sold in the U.S. but why is the engine black?   The Australian version has a silver engine
and it looks WAY better.  I'd have to see one in person, but the black engine is a turn off as far as I'm concerned

I like the silver engine as well, and why the hell is it only in red!?

True, the silver motor looks better. I'll probably buy one anyway. If I tire of the black finish, I can probably strip and paint the motor. And if I really want to throw money at it, there is a beautiful after-market 4-into-4 exhaust that I have seen in photos.
