ok, here's some low-res pictures from this morning (phone reverted back to 640x480 for some reason).  i snapped them on my way to work, so let me know what you think!  it's close, i just have to find the time now dangit!!  i dunno what color to paint it...  i'm thinking of going with line-x as i have some at home that lays down really well and looks really good if you get the mix right (i'll keep the texture to a minimum).  it would help reinforce the fiberglass seat pan as well, and it would really help cover up the small bodywork issues i have on the tank.

now, what color for the wheels eventually??  gold, red/black and white have all crossed my mind at times, hard to make a decision!!

Personally I like the wheels as they are, black with the red pinstripe. Like the wheels on the '80's Harley XR1000.

That is a badass looking bike. Nice work.

ya, the black on red is def. a heavy hitter on the color schemes, i was just tossing around other ideas.

now for the paint, what do y'all think about line-x (technical Raptor liner)?  i can vary the mixture to get a lighter texture if needed, but its a good looking finish and color (black), and it would be very tough.  it would fill in any body problems and stiffen the fiberglass seat a little more.

thinking of these heat shields:

really leaning towards the carbon fiber one because of it's superior low heat transfer.  the first one is made of stainless, but looks pretty cool too.  thoughts??
