75 cb400f odd ball petcock leaking

Looks like my tank has the male 20mm fitting. DCC has a Pingle adapter that is 20mm and/or 13/16 to 1/4 npt. Could I just eBay a cheap 13/16 Harley petcock instead of a $25 nut plus petcock?
