Mine too has a leak there too.............I've replaced the crush washer to no avail.

Tightened it to the point, the tank inlet started to twist.

So, figure its the hose........surfing ebay for decent replacement set......not working.

May do the local thing.

If it ain't raining, I'm riding.....~~{iii}?~~prost

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

Put 10 miles on her today. No major issues to report. Still waiting on my front master cylinder and I should have the right side cover from the painter Monday but other than that she is good to go. Ill have more pictures and another video posted in a few days for sure.

Your bike looks great! Having one in the same color I'm interested in seeing the paint results as mine needs a paint job. I saw you posting a few weeks ago about your paint scan and I hope it comes out really well. Let us know what you think. My tank is too faded to expect good scan results.

Runs good. Got it idling right now too. Here is a video my wife made after I buzzed the neighborhood on it Saturday.

Cool video, looks like the bike is running great. Are those the stock handlebars, they look high.  Like em?

Now you know what I felt like as a 19 year old kid when I drove a brand new one of those off the show room floor back in 1975. They told me to bring it back for the 600 mile tune up and I brought it back the next day.

Finally got the front brakes finished!!

I called the original owner of the bike and he really wants to see it. Planning on riding over to his house tomorrow to see what he thinks of the ol girl. Hope he likes it.

So for the plan moving forward…… I’m planning on getting one of my wife’s friends who is a good photographer to take some cool pictures of the bike around the old downtown area this month.
Next month is the local motorcycle expo so I’ll enter it into that. It should do well; I’ve had good luck with the other bikes I’ve entered so we will see.
After that I’m working up a trip to North Carolina to ride the gap on it and just goof off with two of my buddy’s. I really want a few pics off of the Kill Boy site LOL.

The sad thing is I am already having with draws from not having an active project!! Trying to pay off the wife’s car early so I may just have to wait or sell something…..

Thanks for sharing the video! Your bike looks great. Are you planning on running it without the baffles?

Side note, the bars do look higher than stock. Eitherway bike looks great!

Thanks! The previous owner’s son removed the baffles so that’s what I got. I like it though.

And the bars are stock as far as the previous owner and I know. I rolled forward slightly making them in line with the forks.

Its the stock seat pan recoverd by Nate at Vinyl-Lux.com. Nate does a killer job and the price is good too.
