Topic: cb550-cb750 forks!!!

I'm about too buy CB750 forks but then i stopped and thought if they would fit on my CB550. Will they? Or are the 750 forks bigger?

Not an authority but I do know alotta people run 550 forks on 750's to drop the front end some without pushing the forks through the trees so yes they fit and yes they are shorter. IIRC it's like 1.5inches  or so .

Sure someone knows more that will chime in.

The triple trees will not work 750 stem is longer and wider. The tubes are the same size

Think he just said the forks- no need for triples, they slide right in.

I put early 750 forks on my 550K3.  You will need to use a 750 caliper, disk and fender too.  The 750 disk is a wee bit bigger, giving you slightly improved braking.
