All cb 750 have shell bearings..not sure what you are saying, or meaning.
What I am putting out there is..does anyone know of a 970cc or bigger cb 750, that got over 40k on the lower end without rebuild? I do not, but know of many stickers that have done so..

Thats my point Frank, none of the bikes sporting all the newer parts have 40,000 on them yet, I expect my bike to run cooler than an earlier big bore Honda because of the nikasil bores and modern alloy's in the block, modern oils are better and there won't be any slap in the chains either with the primary chain adjuster and the friction coatings should also help and the injection should keep it running well, so , YES, i expect my engine goes way past 40,000, if it doesn't it will still be fun...
